CBT

Cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) is a type of talking therapy that uses insight, skills, and curiosity to understand and change patterns in your thoughts, feelings, and behavior. It tends to be structured, time-bound, and goal-directed in its intervention. It has a strong collaborative element as well—both you and the therapist will decide on thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that are important for you to address. Both you and the therapist will decide on which beliefs to change.
